Today was not the day to be going sans-tights. Each year I’ve been in DC, I try to wear my non-cold weather clothes for as long as humanly possible. Today, I should have rethought that idea, as I wasn’t aware of the wind gusts that would be breezing by. In efforts to get as much wear out of my pieces as possible, I like using layers over my sundresses to keep me warm and seasonally-appropriate. I was inspired to take the army green trend for fall and use it as both a neutral and my pop-of-color. The army green paired with the black & white stripes worked well together—bold yet casual. Boots, a sweater, coat, and a little dress—today’s not-so-well-planned look!
